Who are the main service providers of Hamas and Hizballah, and where are they located?

We recently conducted a review of the list of Hizballah and Hamas sites that is maintained by the Terrorism and Intelligence Information Center in Israel.

We looked at the network access providers (the companies that provide an IP address and access to the Internet), the domain name registrars, and for the eGroups and subdomains, the hosts.

In the case of Hizballah, the 30 sites require the services of 53 providers (some service providers service more than one site - to put it another way, we are counting the instances of providing a service).

35 of those services are provided by American companies
6 of those services are provided by Syria
3 of those services are provided by Canada
3 of those services are provided by Iran
2 of those services are provided by France
1 of those services is provided by Lebanon
1 of those services is provided by Argentina
1 of those services is provided by Spain
1 of those services is provided by Jordan

Do the math - despite the fact that Hizballah is a Designated Terrorist organization, and despite 6 years of publicizing the role of American companies in providing services to Hizballah, they still receive 66% of the services required from American companies.
